Minecraft Server Running on Raspberry Pi 2
Minecraft is a popular game mostly because it is easy to play and still an interesting game to play. One of the reasons you may want to run Minecraft on the Raspberry Pi is that it is a dedicated device for kids to play on and leaves your laptop and computer free for other more important applications.
It also provides a powerful dedicated server that can improve on the play experience. You can build a game on the server, and leave it free for friends and family to continue with the build.
You will need a Raspberry Pi 2 with an Sd card of 4 GB or higher. You will also need USB power Adaptor and Ethernet cable. The other things that you may need are software like the Soft-float Debian ‘wheezy’. Other than the Pi, most of these things are free. There are also a lot of resources online that will guide you on coming up with your own Raspberry Pi Minecraft server.
